Knowledge and Experience
- Relevant Degree
- 3 years plus experience in Clearing and Forwarding
- Supply Chain knowledge would be beneficial
- Sales or new business development
- Sales training or related courses - advantage
- Proficient on : Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
- Strong “cold calling” experience
- Own transport required
Main Tasks:
- Generate new, profitable business within the Group’s defined parameters
- Research and generating own leads
- Cold Calling
- Analysis, formulation and implementation of logistics solutions
- Generate and present proposals to clients
- Prepare estimates (costing schedules) to clients
- Negotiate client rate increases annually
- Coordination, collaboration and communication
