Our international client in the luxury snacks and confectionaries industry is seeking an experience Sales Representative to work as an independent contractor based in South Africa 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years in sales and/or marketing.
• Strong experience, with a proven track record in sales to snacks importers and distributors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field.
• Critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster long-term business relationships.
• Remote work.
• Ability to travel within SA for business purposes.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS 

• Search for potential importers and distributors that can import and distribute the company’s products.
• Conduct in-depth market research to identify market segments and potential partners for distribution and importation of the company’s products.
• Assess the reputation, experience, and logistical capabilities of potential distributors and importers.
• Conduct due diligence, including checking references, and past performance of prospective customers.
• Establish strong relationships with identified distributors and importers, fostering long-term business partnerships.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, such as pricing, product delivery schedules, and service levels to ensure win-win outcomes.
