- Managing the Maintenance Department(a team of Artisans) and the work done by external contractors
- Manging the Operational Plan of the department
- Ensure that all organizational infrastructure, plant machinery and equipment is maintained in line with both quality and Health and Safety Standards
- Managing and reporting on the Operational and CAPEX budget
- Management and Financial Reporting
- Health and Safety Compliance of facilities and equipment
- Overseeing projects from implementation to completion from Operational / Maintenance Plan
- Fulfilling the role of the Competent Person as per the General machinery Regulations
Qualifications & Experience:
- A Graduated Engineer with a relevant Engineering Qualification(electrical or mechanical) with a Certificate of Competency(GCC)
- A minimum of five (5) years Managerial experience,
Skills and Competencies:
- Be able to
- evaluate and align performance with the organisation objectives and take corrective actions.
- influence and mobilize a team towards achievement of objectives, planning, leading, organizing and controlling work effectively
- Formulate appropriate medium and long-term future solutions to all Maintenance and Infrastructure related matter
